MoonFall is a new immersive and interactive mythic fantasy ballet that explores desire, climate change, community, and our relationship with the cosmos. At times poignant and at others delightful, MoonFall tells a story of the Sun and Moon's dualistic orbit and the humans whose movements push and pull on their natural world.

MoonFall bridges classical and contemporary styles, and blurs the barrier between audience and performers. Audience members are invited to step into a storybook and world where they will fall in love with dramatic characters, powerful choreography, and a captivating soundtrack, with opportunities to influence elements of the performance and participate in the unfolding of the story!

Two innovative Austin arts organizations, Red Nightfall Dance Theatre and Density512 pool their creativity and resources to bring together this brand new theatrical ballet experience with local Austin professional dancers, scored by a chamber orchestra of 12 Austin musicians.

Density512 is a hotbed of radical creativity. We are chamber orchestra and collective of brave, open-minded musicians who champion contemporary programming. We produce imaginatively curated experiences, amplify the voices of groundbreaking and emerging artists, and cultivate interdisciplinary collaborations.

Our live productions tell stories through music in wide array of performance genres including narrative concerts, opera, ballet, sound installation, and performances, festival showcases.

Our in-house new music media and record label DensitySOUND is home to 4 records, 2 films, and 2 podcasts. Committed to accessibility reaching community around the world, we dabble in web installation and other creative digital media.
